This property far exceeded our expectations. We visited with 2 children aged 8 & 5, and my parents so 6 in total. The property was well equipped with toys, an outside box full of nets, buckets and spades as well as a beautiful garden. The beach was within a 10 minute walk. The property is beautifully presented and extremely clean, equipped with everything a family would need for a break away. Sinead the owner was very accommodating and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. If you are looking for a beach getaway, this property has everything you would need and more.

We loved the quiet location and comfortable property. The supply of tea and selection of coffee was a nice touch. The furniture fit well with the property and the proximity to the sea was a bonus. The walk along the top of the beaches to Marine Parade was only 10 minutes, and Whitstable itself was a pleasant 25-minute walk away. The "castle" walk was also lovely. Local shops, the train station, and a large supermarket were all conveniently close by. The lawn and patio were very relaxing when the weather was nice.

The house was beautifully decorated with lovely touches in each room. We had a fantastic Christmas stay with plenty of space and everything we needed. The hosts were extremely thoughtful, even providing a Christmas tree and decorations. The location was also great, with the beach within a 10-minute walk. We were also impressed by the well-equipped kitchen and the excellent grill for a delicious barbecue. a wonderful short stay with all the comforts of home and more.

There were a few minor issues during our stay. The double bed was a bit challenging for two people, and the drain in the bathtub was not working properly.

We loved the festive touches throughout the house, including the Christmas tree and decorations. The hosts even went the extra mile by providing dishwashing tablets when we ran out. Additionally, the location was perfect. Situated on a quiet residential road, we had easy access to the nearby beach and a convenient bus route into town. Plenty of off-road parking was available as well.

That the dishwasher wasn't working during our stay. However, the host was quick to respond and arranged for a repairman to fix it.
